DecisionHub
Terms of Service
Last updated: July 5, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and DecisionHub. They cover your use of the DecisionHub service. By creating a workspace, signing in, or using the service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or team, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization, and “you” means that organization. We have kept these terms plain. DecisionHub is in beta, so both the product and these terms may change - we will update the date above when they do.
Who you are agreeing with
DecisionHub (“DecisionHub,” “we,” “us”) is the service described on this site and operated by its founder. The operating legal entity and its registered address will be named here before paid plans launch.
The service is in beta
DecisionHub is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. During beta, features may change, break, or be removed, and there may be downtime. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Do not rely on it as the sole record for anything you cannot afford to lose - keep your own copies of critical decisions.
Changes to the service
We are actively building DecisionHub and may add, change, or remove features over time. If we plan to discontinue a material feature you rely on, or shut down the service, we will give reasonable advance notice by email or in-app so you can export your data.
Your account
You sign in with Google, so keeping your Google account secure is how you keep your DecisionHub account secure. You are responsible for activity in your workspace, including what your invited members do. Tell us promptly at support@decisionhub.app if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.
Your data is yours
You own the content you and your team put into DecisionHub - your workspaces, decision requests, context, verdicts, and notes (“Your Content”). We claim no ownership of it. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display Your Content only as needed to operate and provide the service to you and your workspace, and to keep routine backups. That license ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for backup copies that age out on our normal schedule. How we handle Your Content is described in our Privacy Policy.
Our intellectual property
The DecisionHub software, design, branding, and everything we provide to run the service are ours (or our licensors’). These terms do not transfer any of that to you - we grant only a limited right to use the service while your account is active and in good standing. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, or create a competing product from it.
Confidentiality
We each may see the other’s non-public information through the service. Your Content is your confidential information, and we treat it that way: we do not access it except to operate the service, fix problems you report, or when the law requires. Anything we share about unreleased features or non-public pricing is our confidential information. Neither side needs to keep confidential anything that is or becomes public through no fault of the receiver.
Acceptable use
Please use DecisionHub responsibly. Do not:
- Break the law or infringe someone else’s rights with it.
- Upload malware, or attempt to breach, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Access workspaces or data that are not yours.
- Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission.
We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or put others at risk. When it is safe and lawful to do so, we will give notice first.
Billing
Paid subscriptions are not live during beta. When paid plans launch, billing will be handled by Stripe, and the terms below apply. Prices are in US dollars and are charged per workspace, not per seat.
- Renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically for the period you choose - monthly or annual - until you cancel. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method at the start of each period.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period, and it does not renew after that.
- Refunds. Charges are non-refundable, and we do not pro-rate partial periods, except where the law requires otherwise. We may offer a goodwill refund at our discretion, generally only within 14 days of a charge. Annual plans follow the same rule: canceling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current year.
- Upgrades and downgrades.Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated for the rest of the current period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period. On a downgrade, we never delete your existing members, teams, or requests - but while you are above the new plan’s limits you cannot add new ones until you are back within them.
- Failed payments. If a charge fails, we keep your plan active for a 14-day grace period while Stripe retries. If payment is still not resolved after the grace period, the subscription is canceled and your workspace moves to the Free plan and its limits, including its shorter decision-history retention.
- Price and plan changes. We may change prices or plan limits. For an existing paid subscription, changes take effect at your next renewal, and we will give reasonable advance notice by email or in-app.
- Taxes. Prices do not include taxes. You are responsible for any sales, VAT, GST, or similar taxes, except taxes on our income.
Termination and what happens to your data
You can stop using DecisionHub and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially break these terms, if your payment stays unresolved past the grace period, or if we reasonably need to protect the service or other users. When your account ends:
- You can export Your Content before you close the account, and you may ask us for help exporting it for a reasonable period around termination.
- On request, we delete your workspace data within 30 days, and remaining copies age out of routine backups after that. Our data-retention practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. Some places do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, DecisionHub and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any and all claims is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Because beta access is free, during beta that amount may be zero.
Indemnification
You agree to cover reasonable claims brought against us by a third party that arise from Your Content or from your use of the service in breach of these terms or the law. We will do the same for you against a third-party claim that the DecisionHub service itself infringes that party’s intellectual-property rights. In each case the covering side gets prompt notice of the claim and reasonable cooperation, and neither side settles a claim that admits fault or imposes an obligation on the other without that other side’s consent.
Governing law and disputes
The governing law and the place where disputes are resolved are still being finalized and will be stated here before paid plans launch. Until then, nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product grows. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and give reasonable notice by email or in-app before it takes effect. If you keep using DecisionHub after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service and close your account.
